Far superior to every other writing program we have tried.

My seventh-grader has been using this program for six weeks now. It is by far the best writing program I have ever seen for middle grades. The instruction in the student text is specific, well-designed, and so wonderfully clear. Assignments are high-interest, at least for my kid, and build on previous assignments, but are not so lengthy as to be overwhelming. My son says that WWS is the best program he has ever used and that the writing instruction "just makes sense."

I am a homeschool mom and wondered if I would need the teacher's book. Yes! Buy it. It is extremely helpful. My daughter's writing has improved with the use of this curriculum.

We've done the entire Writing with Ease series in our home school. When I discovered the Writing with Skill books, I was thrilled! Mrs. Bauer's writing program starts (in the first Writing with Ease) with having a first grader copy a sentence. This Writing with Skill book (for the fifth or sixth grader) leads them to the point of doing their own narration, composition, beginning literary criticism, and a final research project. We haven't started school yet this year, but I'm excited, knowing there's such a fun and instructive writing program in place. My daughter loves to write but really needs the structure and information this curriculum provides. Thank you, Susan Wise Bauer!
